Not sure if this is a grasshopper or katydid. It had extremely long antennae that still got cut off in the wide view (second photo).

Adults and a nymph. One of my favorite grasshopper species. I love the bright pink on the hind legs and face (which you can kind-of see here).

This species is a grasshopper parasitoid. They make a very distinctive buzzing sound.
