Perennial herb with 1-few upright stems c. 50 cm tall. Leaves elliptic, c. 10 x 3-4 cm. Inflorescences axillary?, single flowered?. Corolla c. 2-2.5 cm long.

Growing in Itigi forest patches and thicket in sandy loam soil with heavy leaf litter.

a few plants taken from this population and placed in pot with sand/stones from the same area on 14 Jan 24. Flowered on 17 Jan 24

The plants have been well watered but did not flower again. By 15 March 24 one plant remained green
