Several flowers

Presumed extinct here following the 2009 wildfires.

Not my record. I'm putting it up on behalf of Kelly and Glenda, orchid enthusiasts from Eden. They had David Jones with them and he identified it as Caladenia ancylosa. A first for NSW?

Easily the most striking colouration (or lack thereof) that I have seen of this species.

Orchid in deep leaf litter of Myristica insipida forest in bottom of gorge

Historic flood plain. What a fluke to find these georgeous little orchids, a complete surprise. Colony 1 of 3

Locally abundant in Sphagnum bog.

Population of ~ 10 plants, most flowering. Observed another population ~ 200 m to the N.

This area was burnt in Feb 2022
