Descripción

A widespread and I assume naturalized spreading herb in the northern Territory. This is the first time I noticed the tiny flowers (photo 3) about a 2 - 3 mm long. The herb is variable in height depending position in sun or shade but not higher than 500 - 700 mm. On second thought the leaves look like clover (trifolium) and the flower like Alysicarpus so I not 100 % sure if that is Alysicarpus or Trifolium, definitely fabaceae. Perhaps picked up the leaf from one plant and the flower from another.
