On base of Thuja occidentalis, spores 17x8um, 8 per ascus, I pink-red, k-. Verrucaria thujae possible, descibed as having a granulose-squamulose thallus, spores smaller than Verrucaria bryoctona. Exciple is black not pale as in Verrucaria Thujae..
Proper exciple paraplectenchymatous. Spores 6-septate, 35x6.5 microns
Stamnaria americana fruiting on rough horsetail (Equisetum hyemale var. affine). First brought to my attention by @erwin_pteridophilos based this observation: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/35283155
Upon revisiting, I found thousands of infected stems of E. hyemale around this small kettle pond. Several hundred stems with visible fruiting bodies.
