Notes from Ashley: "Found 22 June, 2023, unfortunately deceased. Approximately 160mm in length. Found in grass, severe frost day before, 11 km north of Nathalia northern Victoria".

Two different individuals with the same blue/red colouring. I originally thought they could be Limnodynastes dumerili​ based on roundness and size, but a friend at DPIPWE has suggested Geocrinia laevis. We could hear Geocrinia laevis calling in the area but not Limnodynastes dumerili​, which would support the alternative ID.

Recordings are of all species frogs in the area. Frogs were beside the road in a small, wet culvert. Vegetation in the culvert was grassy/mossy. Surrounding vegetation was dry sclerophyll/low density housing
