Not N. defodiens, N. nigrita, or N. vespilloides.
I believe this is N. guttula based on the mix of a hairy metasternum and metepimeron, long basal procoxa hairs, straight hind tibia, and the elytra pattern.
From my culture of this species. The culture was started last year from locally wild-caught individuals from this area.
I just discovered that they bioluminesce when disturbed! It's very very faint. I took them into a dark closet and blew on them. I couldn't see any glow when looking directly in the culture, but if I looked slightly away I could see the glow with my peripheral vision.
ID for the plausible parasite as well?
This earthworm had a forked tail! Any ideas or comments as to why are very welcome
Found wandering around in my garage, this isn’t a male (female/juvenile) so I’m not sure why? I had it in a temporary enclosure until the sun came up so I could secure better pictures, here’s a long video of it walking and making a temporary burrow:

Lepidoptera pupa found in ponderosa pine cone, currently in my fridge until winter is over, I will link the observation of the imago if/when it pupates.
Appears to have mold growing out of it
Hundreds of bristle millipedes trying to burrow into a spider’s egg sac
Aquatic. Found attached to some willow moss.
Stuffed with cut leaves?
Male human head louse, Pediculus humanus capitis.
Found in a ponderosa pine seed, no leaf mining tunnels, nor seed deformation, just a single hole with a seed full of frass.
A unique spherical growth on this otherwise normal looking young Pondie.
Dead bird found wedged into a part of our roof, 2 skulls, 2 wings, 1 ribcage, and a lot of feathers and miscellaneous bones. All of the insects found with it have their separate observations, but are included in this one incase they can help with the ID or decomposition timeline. I believe this bird (or birds) got into this part of the roof through a panel warped open, and became trapped, although I’m not sure why there are missing body parts and extra body parts, if anyone could offer an explanation it would be appreciated.
