Engystomops pustulatus (common name: Guayaquil dwarf frog) is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in southwestern Ecuador and northwestern Peru. It inhabits scrub savanna, Pacific tropical forest and equatorial dry forest. It can also be found in human-modified habitats. It is an explosive breeder that lays eggs in a foam nest in temporary pools. Though adaptable, it is potentially threatened by habitat loss.
