Sorry identifiers - I inadvertently deleted the original observation thinking that one was a duplicate. I'm not sure how (or if) I can restore it so I have now reposted it.
About 12mm long (minus antennae). Swarming with a dozen others in the same spot every morning for the last five months.

This large masked bee (3/4 length of honey bee) is an occasional visitor to the Corymbia calophylla tree.
It is visually close to H. nubilosus but lacks central yellow spot on it's face.
