Though found in our cottage, I imagine this beautiful beetle is a forest dweller- ~1200m in Eucalyptus forest. Anyone know her species name?
Orb-weaving spider, St. Andrew's cross spider, Argiope keyserlingi - Underside
black plumage with white wing patches
This Eastern Water Skink was found basking in a bit of sunlight. It seems to have previously lost it’s tail, but other than this it appeared to be in healthy condition. It had varying shades of brown on its skin, all of its legs, both of its eyes were in tact as well. It ran off quite fast and hid when I moved.
