The yellow variety found along the Murray River.
Long-staying bird on the foreshore in front of the caravan park. Bird was found 21 July 2016. These photos are among the last sightings of the bird, some 15 months later. It had developed full breeding plumage by the time these photos were taken. This bird was the 10th record for Australia accepted by Birds Australia Rarities Committee (BARC).
Glider on ground. Temp 15C Coffs Creekside coastal sand dry open forest (Blackbutt, Pink Bloodwood, Angophora). Glider is large (Body and head +220mm) and in area where other Squirrel Glider recorded.

Pretty crap photos but I had a close look at it and I’m confident about the ID. Second photo was an attempt to capture the brushy tail tip.
