Amazing find! This is my first time ever seeing A. treatae, they were huge for Aphaenogaster.
Credit to @treys_exotics for helping me find them and @jameswaters for taking the first photo.
This is an amazing record. Besides a singular record on antmaps with very little information this is the first record of Forelius pruinosis in all of New England! And definitely the first on iNaturalist. The implications of this record are very interesting considering the closest records to this one are on Long Island.

This is a state record for Rhode Island. We strongly suspected that Pheidole pilifera were in RI but now we finally have found them. This species is so unique due to their amazing majors, I am so glad to have found them.

Numerous on underside of leaves on this tree (I believe it was Juglans)
From a oak forest leaf litter sample, retrieved under a small pine tree.
