Sarcodontia pachyodon.0209.7.29.13.dwb/alachua co. florida
Found on a pine log iirc. Thinking Irpiciporus pachydon, but possibly Trametes villosa? Didn't notice any hairs on cap but could have missed them. Pore surface is somewhere between daedaloid and dentate.
Fungi growing out of a tree trunk, cream/white color, each cluster was 3-4 inches. Flattened cylindrical teeth protruding from the underside identify this organism as Spongipellis pachyodon. Found widely distributed in eastern North America on oaks and other hard woods.
