Camouflaged as a bird dropping?
Body 8.5mm. Main green version of this species. Elytra and pronotum with single white hairs, sparse. Pronotum midline sulcus wider at rear, transverse side sulci join or almost join midline sulcus, front angle and mid-side angle prominent/toothed not rounded. Scutellum rear half with shallow dish-like depression may or may not contain fine puncta. The 2 labral lobes front of head similar in both sexes, small/short. A good character is punctures on pronotum moderate sized (fairly large) and sparse with irregular random spacing usually much more than a diameter apart.
I cannot work out if this species is pulchella or smaragdula, or whether they are synonyms in which case smaragdula would have priority.
