Large Mouth Bass my friend caught on worms
Location accurate. Quite far inland!! Could it be Rhizophora mangle in freshwater and so far from salt water? No other plants found nearby.
Seen while conducting plant monitoring with Steve Woodmansee in Hole-in-the-Donut Restoration Area 2004 by canoe. We were somewhat dreading the plots we visited because they are in thick cattail but they ended up not being so bad. We did a few plots in 2022 after.

After blacklighting from ~3AM to sunrise, I joined Stefan's group from 8-10AM and then hiked out with Joshua until around 11:45. I then tagged along with Trudy (shoutout to young Valentin and his amazing questions!) and a few other visitors until 12:15.
