Harris Hawks
Good evening All
Today was a big day for me concerning Harris hawks, I have been able to identify a whole family group living together
In a area not far from were I live. there is a total of six members of this group “maybe five now’ I’ve been watching
Them for about 8 weeks and I feel confident that this is 1 group
A property owner in the area who has helped me with taking pictures and information on this group has been a big help
In the next few weeks I’m going to start downloading videos of this group hunting and other things that they do
The location will be dubble obscured to protect these birds because in the past, a few A$$ H&ts have shot at and killed
One of these hawks. This evening I’m going to post each member of this family group, two of the juveniles have been banded for research purposes, I hope every one on here enjoys these photos and the videos
