Mitchell Canyon Trail/Mount Diablo State Park, CA.

I've been eager to get over here to see the last of the spring butterflies I missed and the wildflowers I'm learning. One of the Top Five Bay Area Butterfly Walks. 7 miles to Deer Flats and back, I saw this day:

* largest butterfly in the U.S.
