I am certain these are all chanterelles, the samples on left and right being the most common.
I think the red are the cinnabar.
Please help me id the others, subspecies? Or maybe growing conditions?

3-5 mm, quick movements on surfaces. Collecing in masses under porch roof at side of house with extensive termite damage. When disturbed they swarm at me but never land on me or bite sting.
They seem to react as a colony, when swarming at me they emit a powerful odor resembling mushrooms and anise.
My research shows they may be scuttle flies?
