cloudbridge_nature_reserveDescripción
Very similar to Greta polissena umbrana! Both species show the obvious orange veins, the white spot on the costal margin on the underside of the forewing as well as the smooth white spots on the distal margin. However, the 3 stripes on the thorax show are orange-colored. A comparison of pictures of both species shows, that these stripes of Greta polissena umbrana seems to be more dark-colored, whereas the orange color of the stripes seems to be diagnostic for Greta annette. Anyway, we are very happy about any suggestion, you can give us! Found in an old tree close to a waterfall of Rio Chirripo Pacifico between 1600 and 1700 meters.
