Field Notes - Dont lnow what species this is, has some characteristics of an aphid but with wings. Its about that size. Found several on a elderberry bush in bloom

Field Notes - Could this be an assasin bug? I believe it has a body part of a victim in its front legs, maybe an ants head? Looks as tho one eye is red and the other a dull black; injury? Genetics?

I saw this bird out at the UCSB Campus point. At first thot it was a lesser goldfinch, but closer inspection leads me to think it's the OC warbler, agree?
