About 30 hawks.Observ.

This was in a freshly plowed field and was filled with hawks. I've never heard of this type of thing. I assume they were all feasting on rodents and snakes that were killed while plowing.

Mark Klym, I was told to let you know to look for the "upper left hummingbird" it has only 2 tail feathers. I was concerned for it, but I saw it again last night 9-14-15. It fights a lot. I don't know if it is because of the tail feathers or the tail feathers are a result of it liking to fight.

I only saw the Leucistic Hummingbird 3 times Thursday, September 3rd. The other Hummingbirds didn't allow it to be at the feeder for more than 10 seconds at the most.

I'd like an identification please. I thought it was a juvenile Bald Eagle because of it's size, that these photos are not really showing. A friend thinks it is a juvenile Red Tailed Hawk, but this bird was at least half again if not more taller than any Red Tailed Hawk I've ever seen and I was able to spot this bird from much farther away than a hawk.
