The color of this species ranges from white to purple. This species is white. It is also called a tenpetal thimbleweed or a windflower. This one was about 10 inches tall. Note that the leaves are a distance below the flower.

A blue green algae. We have received a lot of rain in the region. For the year we are about 10 inches above normal. The galvanized shut metal has never had algae on it in 6 years.
