It seems that P. maniculatus, P. keenii, and P. arcticus might have range overlap in this particular location, and I can't distinguish which of those taxa this specimen belongs to.

It definitely looks very similar to the Stream Violet that grows in the valley bottom in this area. But there are two inflorescences on each plant. And I see that the iNat linked Wikipedia article says V. biflora is also known as "alpine yellow violet", and since thses specimens were growing in the alpine, I'm suggesting Viola biflora.
