These are common in this area, often observed darting between the lower branches of trees and garden spaces. This Tanager was perched, peaceful and still on the upper branches. It lingered for about 1 minutes and then darted away. It's head was constantly swivelling.

This finch was darting around between the trees and the near by open field. It then hid in these branches. I was not able to pick out any distinguishable call while observing it.

This is not growing in an orchard, and is not cultivated or picked for its fruit. It is probably 15-20 meters tall. Very few of the fruit were orange, rather orange and green.

This was a surprising find, especially since some quick research suggests that this butterfly is often found in the Amazonia region of Colombia. I spotted it on a low hanging tree branch and then tried to take a picture of it while it sat there. It then flew straight towards me and settled on my hand.
The Rhetus Periander is also commonly known as the Blue Doctor.

This was a surprising find. There are two regular banana plants about 150 meters across the open field. This was tucked away in a shaded space beside a stream. The seed pods were about 1.5-2 meters off the ground and the total height of the plant was about 3 meters.

This was a large Iguana. I could not identify the gender. It was initially climbing up a high branch, and then a few minutes later I observed it coming back down.

The bird was pirched about 15 meters above the ground. It was perched very quietly and still. I observed it ruffle its feathers and stretch it head. I could not see its signature bright eyes.
