In north berkeley, ca at residence. Looks too big for sharp shinned or coopers and I think it may be a red shouldered hawk as the neighborhood has rats since Covid initially shut restaurants.

Mixed length shell with pointed spired end and off-set aperture. Is this a land or sea shell? Is this a local or far-away located animal shell?

I found these on the 2300 block of Central Ave. I need to know if these are local to the area or if imported from east coast or elsewhere. Long are these native finds from long ago or did someone buy these shells and place there as they look fresh. If native then Native Amaerica s would have transported them there. But they look too fresh for that to my eye. What kind of cowry are they?

On June 6, 2020 I was walking north of UCB campus, above Euclid, and i saw swarms of this type of moth. I remember running into swams like this over there in past years. Anyone have any idea what it is or any info on it? Thanks.

shell found 1.5 milles from bay. Trying to see if it was brought by Indians. They carried shell to their villages. Does anyone know the kind of shell? I looked in book and thought maybe Admete Couthouy. Anyone with knowledge to say?
