This plant is also called Scorpion Weed and can cause a very itchy rash similar to Poison Ivy. I know from personal experience! That’s my arm in one of the photos. I had the unlucky experience of brushing up against the plant. If you look closely at the first picture, you can see the oil droplets that cause the rash.
These photos were actually taken by me in March of 2017 in the Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve.
