I have a lifelong passion for native Southeastern U.S. biodiversity of all kinds. I work as a wildlife rehabilitator and specialize in carnivorans.

I love urban ecology. I document a lot of very common urban species because I love watching the way ecosystems adapt and change under the pressures caused by fragmentation, invasive species, and other anthropogenic disturbances. Native urban predators and native urban scavengers are my heroes and something I’m always happy to see.

Some of the animals in my short-term care are photographed after they have entered human care, so you may see signs that would normally indicate captivity (like caging and medical ID tags). The tagged location is always the original find site, to which it is later returned.
