Working towards completing a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours and Co-op in Biology.

For my research project - I am examining the gizzards of two species of Gull; Herring gulls (Larus smithsonianus), and Great Black-backed Gulls (Larus marinus), in search of both macro and micro-plastic pollutants. My primary interests as a biologist are based on the impacts of pollution in wildlife, sustainability, and protecting vulnerable ecosystems.

I am by no means an expert in taxonomy, most observations on my profile are uploaded for fun, and are identified mostly by using the "best-guess" approach.
