Hopelessly fascinated by plants until the end, I was seeking out Calypso bulbosa as a youngster in the hills around my home before arriving in the land of Carnegiea gigantea in my late teens where I became fascinated with xerophytic plants from both the new and old worlds, particularly the Aloe genus, which I've studied and cultivated in some form for nearly twenty years. Currently residing in the Pacific Northwest where I continue to observe the intriguing and abundant plant and fungal life that exists here.
