Hi, I’m a young naturalist from Marin County California. I enjoy birdwatching, tidepooling and etymology among other things. I have loved nature for my entire life, having grown up among the gorgeous redwoods that can be found in my hometown. I am hobbyist, but I hope to be an expert someday. The majority of my earlier observations are from a project that I did in collaboration with the point Reyes national seashore. If you ever drop by the Clem Miller Center, asked to take a look at the herbarium. Most of my observations were to help me identify the plants in there so that we could label them after pressing them.
I am currently doing some work with a professor at the University of Santa Clara studying the blue mutation of the Scarlet Pimpernel.
My pronouns are they/them/theirs. My favorite animals are the northern spotted owl and the opalescent nudibranch. Unfortunately I cannot take credit for my profile picture. It’s gorgeous though, isn’t it? To anyone who took the time to read to here, have a wonderful day!
