I work in a library and I am a lover of all things nature. The vast majority of my bird sightings are going to be on ebird, which I started many years before this website. In addition to the birds I like bats, rodents, herptiles and, surprising for someone in a land locked state, crabs, the watching and not eating part, the most. I got an interest in crabs when I was in Florida a few years ago. My profile photo is me in front of a Shaw's Agave in bloom taken at San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. I had to stand in front of it just to prove how tall it was.
