Retired in Lewisville, Texas, although a Carrollton native and still do most of my photography in my hometown. I'm into many branches of photography including film. I see color and thus digital as the main way to depict flora and fauna. I use Nikon cameras for my wildlife and wildflowers. If it's a more general scene I'll lug around a Hasselblad digital. It's ornery to use sometimes, but the results are great, especially color gamut for fall foliage. My interest in insect close ups is what first drew me into photography. I loved insect study as a child and continued in that love of nature to teach kids science in Dallas Public Schools.
