I studied Forestry and Natural Resources at UC Berkeley; my resulting knowledge mostly pertains to the native trees and shrubs of California, but spending significant time outdoors has led me to become more of a generalist overall. I currently work at the Sonoma Ecology Center and am enrolled in the UC California Naturalist program.
