Bird person interested in all life. NYC based but always on the wing. Currently using eBird for birds (https://ebird.org/profile/MTI5MTQ2/world) and enjoying getting to know the iNaturalist platform and community for everything else. In no particular order, I'm fond of cacti, orchids, butterflies and bombycoid moths, carnivorous plants, parasitic plants, bats, cetaceans, giraffes, elephants, mantids, odes, and other freaks and divas of the world, and I wish we still had pterosaurs.

For more about me and what I work on, you can listen to my recent BirdCallsRadio interview: BCR 157: David Ringer.

I recently started a project here on iNaturalist on Gasteracantha and kin.

Thank you all for sharing your knowledge and expertise!
