I am a PhD student in ornithology (Arctic ecology) and a wildlife enthusiast. This, combined with a passion for travelling and some interests in photography, makes for an eclectic collection of thousands of wildlife pictures from five continents. I am mostly knowledgeable about birds, although I love to skim the literature to try and id herps and mammals. Somehow, I really enjoy lemming identification, Lemmus or Dicrostonyx.

Je suis étudiant au doctorat en écologie Arctique et un naturaliste/taxonomiste dans l'âme (j'ai la manie des listes d'espèces bien classées). Ceci, combiné à un besoin irrépressible de voyager et à quelques notions en photographie, m'ont amené à cumuler une collection éclectique de photos de la faune sauvage provenant des cinq continents. Mes connaissances résident essentiellement en faune aviaire, mes j'adore feuilleter la littérature pour tâcher d'identifier mammifères, reptiles et amphibiens (surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de procrastiner ma thèse).
