I'm a 24 year old dad who loves biology and being out in nature. I have been researching plants and searching for them in my local area for a few years. I still have a lot to learn but I'm getting better. I like obscure or rare plants. This includes entire species but also trying to find cool varieties/subspecies or forms as well. Eventually I'd like to hunt down all the cool plants I've learned about that occur across Illinois and I'd like to learn ecology in general while I'm at it.
