J'ai créé la base de données ÉPOQ (Étude des populations d'oiseaux du Québec) en 1975 et je travaille maintenant au transfert de son contenu dans la base eBird. Je photographie les papillons de nuit depuis 2014. Tout ce qui vit m'intéresse ; je me définis maintenant comme un naturaliste. Les sciences et la technologie, la vie et l'œuvre de John James Audubon, le jeu d'échecs, les progrès de l’intelligence artificielle me passionnent.

Retired computer science prof since 2007, I am a bird watcher for over 60 years. I created the ÉPOQ (Quebec Bird Populations Study) database in 1975 and am now working on the transfer of its contents to the eBird database. I have been photographing moths since 2014. Everything that live interests me; I define myself now as a naturalist. Science and technology, the life and work of John James Audubon, the game of chess, the progress of artificial intelligence fascinate me.
