Professional wildlife and conservation biologist and regulatory specialist with 20+ years of experience. I work throughout California specializing in endangered species inventory and management, regulatory agency permitting, and environmental policy. I also provide technical expertise to international conservation organizations including the Wildlife Conservation Network and Snow Leopard Conservancy. El Dorado Hills is my home territory and I hold a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 10(a)(1)(A) Recovery Permit and California Department of Fish and Wildlife Scientific Collecting Permit and MOU for the California red-legged frog and California tiger salamander. I am the founder and CEO of Sapere Environmental, LLC and Animex USA, Inc. I participate in a variety of survey work and currently working on developing new survey techniques for listed species using detection dogs, drones, and camera traps.
