I've enjoyed birding (with a passion) since 2015, and am becoming very familiar with the birds of Lake Tahoe. Seeing surprise birds drop in on their migration is always exciting, and I enjoy learning about them and the long journeys they are on. This year, I am excited to learn more about our local wildflowers, which is a whole lot more challenging than bird identification! I'm learning a bit about wildflowers from my husband Bob; and if I make mistakes here in ID'ing those wildflowers, it's probably because I added them without getting Bob's opinion first. I appreciate the feedback and help from the iNat community. I'm happiest when out in nature and especially love getting out for a walk or hike (or snowshoe) each morning and evening.
