they/them

I’m a high school student from Northern Virginia with a strong interest in reptiles and amphibians, especially salamanders. I am very much an amateur photographer.

I primarily look for herps but I often also end up finding and taking photos of ants, myrmecophilous arthropods, carabid beetles, myriapods, pseudoscorpions, ferns, mosses, liverworts, and as many other interesting organisms as I can find. I will sometimes post many observations at a time without locations and go and add the locations later.

I mostly identify observations of herps, but I've had much more time on my hands recently, which has led me to start identifying (or at least learning to identify) ants, millipedes (mainly Polydesmids, Callipodids, and Chordeumatids), centipedes, camel crickets, woodlice, and whatever other taxa catch my interest.

Feel free to tag me to help identify any reptile or amphibian observation. If I can’t identify it, I’ll find someone who can.
