Hi,

For observations tagged ORCT please contact the Overberg Renosterveld Conservation Trust for additional details: info AT overbergrenosterveld.org.za

For the last five year I have been working as a volunteer, finding, collecting data and monitoring rare and endangered plants in the South Western Cape, with the citizen science project CREW.

CREW is the acronym for Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers. It's an opportunity to get to know the beautiful plants, places and people of the region. I am a member of the FoBCA (Friends of the Blaauwberg Conservation Area) & FOTH (Friends of the Tygerberg Hills) CREW groups.

From 2006 to 2015 I worked in the Herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. I also volunteered in the Herbarium at the South London Botanical Institute 2001-2006 and was a trustee from 2006-2012. I obtained a B.Sc. - Botany and Zoology at Stellenbosch University in the early 1990's.
