I am an avid photographer and proponent of native ecosystems. I am primarily interested in learning about and photographing terrestrial plants (although I'm interested in all components of native ecosystems) and tropical marine flora and fauna. I have had a near-lifelong special interest in carnivorous plants. I spent over 20 years on Maui, mostly working with the Hawaiian Ecosystems at Risk project (http://www.hear.org) designing databases and providing public information about invasive species.

Would appreciate any feedback RE: my as-yet unidentified/unverified observations.
