Hellohallohullo! I hope you're having a good day so far.
For starters (instead of rambling and waxing poetic about every single animal and plant and fungus I've ever seen) I should probably just say that, from the very first time I pointed a toddler-hand at something outside and went "Oooooh", to the present day (where I still very frequently point my almost-adult hands at things and go "Ooooh"), I've always been keen on observing the world around me as closely as possible.
Nowadays, I'm still absolutely enchanted by the hobby of recording the things I see!
(And protecting said wild things to the best of my extent, as always.)
I can't thank the folks behind iNaturalist enough for making my endeavors that much more connected to other like-minded folks.
(And a heckton more curious, too! I've suddenly found myself trying to name every single species of bug and plant in even the most mundane of areas. Suddenly, a blade of grass isn't just a blade of grass. It's a blade of grass that I need to know the scientific name of! Identification through photography is an absolute DREAM come true.)

I'm currently only a citizen scientist, but I definitely have some biiiiig plans ahead of me. (Most of which revolve around zoology, but you can bet your last button that I'm going to spread out my roots into as much nuanced knowledge on nature that I possibly can.)
