Festive Fall Prompts!
Hi everyone!
Happy Halloween week! We here in the coordinator hallway at Noland are loving the autumnal festivities. To celebrate, we have a couple new iNaturalist prompts for you!
This week's prompts are:
- Find (and identify) a fungus! Mushrooms grow best when there has been prolonged periods of wet weather. The recent rain should be helpful to you!
- Find (and identify) a tree with colorful fall leaves! As Dr. McCulloh mentioned in lecture, some species display brighter colors than others. Has the weather this fall been conducive to the production of anthocyanins?
- Confirm one observation made by a classmate
