The purpose of this project is to identify locations of native plant species that are important restoration targets, but are currently unavailable to practitioners. We hope to use these data to inform wild conservation seed collections.

The seeds will become part of the North Carolina Botanical Garden's efforts to increase the diversity of ecotypes available for ecological restoration. We will work with community and conservation partners to make this happen.

Please do not make any physical seed or plant collections without permission and guidance of the project administrators.
