South and part of the north section - 12/30/2021

Thursday, 9:00-13:00 1 live newt! 193 dead newts in the south section, and 124 in the 3/4 portion of the north section - 317 dead newts in total.
I walked with Robin
Weather: cold, cloudy. we saw the sun on the way out. Lots of rain, until at least Wednesday night
Coverage: Robin and Merav walked together from Aldercroft Heights Rd intersection to the second stop sign. Robin walked back to the cars, Merav walked the north section till Kimekiln trailhead, where Robin picked her up (since not all of the north section got covered on Monday).
Newts: south section: I had 87 newts, Robin had 106 = 193, many of them fresh. A few juveniles.
North section: I had 106 newts and Robin had 18 = 124.
Other roadkills: 2 tree frogs, 1 ensantina, slugs, centipedes.
Traffic: south section: 3 trucks, 32 cars, 12 bikes, 3 pedestrians, 5 parked cars.
north section: 2 trucks, 26 cars, 4 bikes, 6 pedestrians, 20 parked cars.
