This Project is designed to allow participants in the SCMF California Naturalist Classes, held in Big Bear, to record at least seven observations during the 10 week (40 hour) course. Observations must be of flora or fauna of the San Bernardino National Forest.

The California Naturalist program is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of natural and environmental sciences as well as the particulars of the State’s unique ecology; including field and communication skills. Together we are fostering a constituency for nature in California as environmental stewards, descents, teachers, and citizen scientists engaged in life-long learning. menos ↑
