Project kick-start

Thank you to all the volunteers of WASH who came to St Thomas' church yard to record nature on the 7th, 8th and 10th June 2023. Not only did we do this for Churches Count on Nature 2023, for the charity Caring For God's Acre, but it also kick started or project to record the biodiversity of the village.

The volunteers who used iNaturalist now have experienced, and enthusiasm to continue their observing in Stockton Heath and beyond.

We had a fantastic 272 observations covering around 140 species over the three sessions.

Additionally we have four volunteers new to iNaturalist, enthusiastic about carrying on their recording of nature in the village.
