These varieties currently have no valid name under the genus Senega and are not accepted by POWO:

"Polygala boykinii var. sparsifolia": https://fsus.ncbg.unc.edu/main.php?pg=show-taxon-detail.php&taxonid=9156

I do not want to end the previous identification of the varieties and do not want to simply synonymize them probably prematurely. I have simply attached the two varieties unchanged to Senega boykinii so that we can find a solution later.

The varieties must either be synonymized later if they are not accepted or they must be transferred to the genus Senega at a later date as soon as they have valid descriptions under this genus name.
