Are you proposing to deviate from POWO? If so what are you proposing? It doesn't look like the way you edited the taxon framework relationships captures that deviation

got it - but the POWO (our reference) has Saussurea gossipiphora D.Don and Saussurea laniceps Hand.-Mazz. as the active taxa. The way you've curated it here Saussurea gossipiphora D.Don is no longer active and instead Saussurea laniceps Hand.-Mazz. and S. gossypiphora are active. Since this does not follow POWO, are you intending to deviate from POWO or is there an error in how you curated? If the former can you flag Saussurea gossipiphora explain why a deviation is necessary, ie why do you think POWO's use of S. gossipiphora is wrong and we should instead use S. gossypiphora?

Since we try to minimize deviations from POWO, these proposals (flags) should ideally be made about a week in advance of curating in the direction of the deviation so other curators have a chance to discuss. I'm generally in favor of first reaching out to POWO directly and seeing if they'll make the change there which saves us having to make and maintain these deviations which is a lot of work
